Electronic Claim Processing
Your all-payor solution to claims processing
Insurance Claims Processing is a service QSI provides its dental clients which allows you to outsource all of your insurance claims submissions, thus relieving you of the hassle of having to print and mail claims yourself. QSI’s partnership with some of the largest clearinghouses in the country allows you to submit most of your claims through QSI’s QUIC Network. Any claims that cannot be submitted electronically may be printed on paper ADA forms and mailed out by QSI. This service offers a more accurate, efficient, and cost-effective means to submit your office’s insurance claims and pre-authorizations.
Why submit claims through the QUIC Network?
- Speeds processing and payment of claims
- Saves valuable staff time and effort
- Advances your practice toward a "paperless" office
- Saves on postage, paper, and reduces processing costs
- Improves cash flow with higher collections and shorter A/R turnaround
- Decreases submittal errors and re-submissions
How does it work?
Insurance companies in Program 91 are set up to submit claims through the QUIC Network (based on the Form Type field and carrier number field). Insurance requests are queued through Program 12 or D.1X13 (Automatic Insurance Billing). Program 37 is run to create the claims. All QUIC claims successfully processed are sent to a holding file which QSI retrieves from your system at intervals designated by your office. These claims are then processed and forwarded to insurance companies and/or clearinghouses. Reports containing a list of all claims processed are sent back to your system. In addition, any reports received from the insurance companies are also sent back to your system. For more information, please refer to the documentation for Program 37, Print Insurance Forms.
How do you get started?
To start enjoying the benefits of QUIC electronic claims, fill out the enclosed enrollment forms (including the purchase order) and fax them back to QSI. Implementation, including installation and setup, normally takes 2-3 weeks. QSI also provides two training sessions as a part of the implementation process. After enrollment forms are received, a QSI representative will contact you to discuss the installation process and to schedule your training sessions.
