The QSI Dental System is powerful, feature-rich, and very flexible. QSI offers a range of systems to cost-effectively meet the needs of any size practice, from a Pentium PC operating in SCO UNIX to an advanced IBM RS/6000 processor utilizing the AIX environment and capable of supporting several hundred devices in a multi-user, multi-location configuration. • "Chartless" Office: Interfaces restorative and perio-charting, intra-oral images, and digitized x-rays to allow for seamless movement of data throughout the practice management system. In addition, a pen-based "tablet" allows for portable entry and viewing of all medical/dental records.
• Appointment Scheduling: An extensive appointment inquiry and scheduling system, including family scheduling and "perfect-day" provider schedule templating, as well as full treatment planning with insurance estimation.
• Insurance Processing: Generate primary and secondary insurance claims, and automatically track all open claims, matching transaction data with claim information to maximize reimbursement. Expediently post insurance payments to specific procedures using open item billing features.
• QUIC Electronic Network: Submit claims electronically to carriers nationwide, or have QSI generate and submit paper claims for your practice. Also, QSI can print and mail your patient statements.
• Accounts Receivable/Billing: Efficiently manage patient billing procedures with minimal paperwork, reducing overhead and improving cash flow. Coordinate and track collection activity on-line using our "paperless collections" features. Electronically post payments.
• Practice Management: A wide variety of standard management reports are available to analyze office productivity, track patient treatment, and manage the financial aspects of your practice. The integrated IQ Report Writer allows the creation of ad-hoc database queries.
• Capitation/Risk Management: Coordinate pre-paid and capitated health plans, including fee schedule maintenance, patient eligibility checking, and benefits tracking. Analysis of pre-paid health plan statistics such as capitation utilization, treatment status, and collections reports.
• Word Processing: Create a variety of customized documents, such as marketing letters, recall reminders, and contracts.
• Dental School Management: QSI provides one of the only true Dental School Subsystems, which automates student grading, tracks academic progress, and manages student rotations scheduling.
