The QSI Dental School System features a wide array of software specifically designed for pre-doctoral and faculty practices. This sophisticated system package, which has been utilized for over fifteen years by such prestigious schools as the University of California, San Francisco, was created to meet the unique needs and requirements of the academic environment.

QSINET

QSINET is a revolutionary system that simplifies the set up of a new dental practice -- a QSI Dental System that users access over the Internet. QSINET features reporting, scheduling, treatment planning, receivables management, and collections, from the leader in dental practice management. QSINET can arrange training clinics over the Internet allowing students to gain experience with a practice management system. It also represents a simple, low-cost means for your graduates to automate their new practices.

QSINET can also be integrated with the QSI Dental School System on your campus network. This Intranet integration allows web browser access for students and faculty to scheduling, treatment planning, billing, and patient histories.

Clinical Product Suite

QSI's Clinical Product Suite is a Windows-based clinical information management system that integrates the QSI practice management system with graphical tooth charting and perio-charting, digital imaging, treatment planning, clinical progress notes and patient education. The results are a comprehensive electronic patient record, increased office staff productivity, improved accuracy of patient charts, enhanced patient care and reduced patient visit time.  The rich functionality of the Clinical Product Suite also makes it an excellent tool for research, education, and patient outreach.

Scheduling

Our appointment scheduling allows users to perform searches for open time availability for patients, students, and faculty members. In addition, scheduling “pools” can be set up to efficiently match patient needs with student requirements. Chair Availability reports can also be generated to view open chairs for specified dates and times.

Student Grading

Student grades can be entered by procedure, with up to eight (8) grade categories per procedure. The QSI Dental School System also tracks the procedure time, instructor, and grade from the fee ticket. In addition, Academic Profile reports can be generated which contain a list of transaction codes with a baseline number of times that student doctors must complete each transaction to meet their requirements. These reports provide a basis by which student doctors are assigned patients. Status reports listing incomplete and complete work for each student by transaction, grade, discipline, and clinic can also be run as needed.

Tracking of Student Work

A list of patient assignments by doctor can be generated to track assignments to both faculty and student doctors. In addition, the status of the work of student doctors and their transaction totals can be viewed or printed in a report format to closely monitor students’ academic progress.

Rotations

A master rotation screen is used to enter the specifications for student rotations in and out of clinics. This screen also lists the maximum number of students allowable for each rotation and the number of chairs currently filled. Rotation information can be printed for each slot and posted and purged as necessary.
