This is a new secure file transfer protocol for NextGen-edi services
(statements, voice reminders, cards, letters, and eligibility) processing
that allows you to submit your files via our secured site. Simply follow
the steps below to uploading your file(s) to our secured website.
You will need to know your login username and password; both of
which have been assigned. (Click here to request your username and password if you don't have one.)
Upload live file(s) to us *:
- Go to http://edi.nextgen.com or http://edi.qsii.com on your web browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape, 4.0 or higher with 128 bit encryption support)
- Click 'EDI File Submission/Retrieval'
- a. Login with:
- Username: (uppercase)
- Password: (lowercase)
- Fill out all fields (be certain to note practice # and file type); Use "Browse" button to select file to upload
- Click "Click to Upload" (Note: be sure to stay online until you see the name of the file you are sending appear under "Received Files." Leaving the site too early will interrupt the upload process. Also, note the byte size that appears if the byte size is 0, this indicates that there is a problem and you should call NextGen-edi at 949-255-2600 and ask for Charlene at ext. 274).
- For practices with multiple clinics and files, click on "Upload multiple files" located under browse button (be certain to note practice # and file type for each file you are uploading). For practices with one clinic that need to upload multiple files on one particular occasion, please call NextGen-edi at 949-255-2600 x 274 for assistance. You will not be able to upload two or more files for one clinic without instruction.
- When complete, you can close your browser. You are done!
File processing occurs at 6 a.m. and again at 9 a.m., Pacific Standard Time.
Files received after 9 a.m. (PST) will not be processed until the following day.
Within 24 hours after your files have been received, your confirmation report will
appear on the website for you to download.
Downloading Confirmation reports:
- Click on "EDI File Submission/Retrieval"
- Login with assigned Username (uppercase) and Password (lowercase)
- Under DOWNLOAD RESULTS, click on the date of your last submission to retrieve your
confirmation results.
- A File Download window will appear, select "open this file from its current location" then click ok.
- Your notepad report will appear and you can print and save.
- Optional: You may remove files that you have already downloaded so that they do not appear on the list. To do so, check the box to the right of the files listed, and click the �Clean Up� button. This is optional and you should be very careful not to remove files you haven�t yet downloaded.
- Optional: To recover a deleted file (e.g. if you mistakenly deleted a file), follow the "Recover deleted files" link, select the files you want to recover and click �Recover!� (Note: deleted files are kept only for a certain period after which they will not be recoverable from the web console).
- Notes on "Last Processed File(s)": When your uploaded files are received, they are placed under "Uploaded Files". Once they�re processed, they�ll be listed under �Last Processed File(s)�. If you�re unable to locate a file you recently uploaded, look under this section to match the date and time of your upload with the last processed file.
