NextGen Healthcare Information Systems Receives Top Honors at 2003 TEPR Conference

HORSHAM, Pa. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - May 14, 2003 - NextGen Healthcare Information Systems Inc., a subsidiary of Quality Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:QSII - News), announced today that for the third consecutive year, its applications have been awarded top honors by The Medical Records Institute at the annual TEPR (Toward an Electronic Patient Record) conference.

At this year's conference held in San Antonio, Texas, the NextGenemr application earned first place among "EMR Systems for Medium/Large Practices." This category addressed practices with fifteen or more physicians.

Also, the NextGenepm application was awarded first place in the "Practice Management Systems for Physician Offices" category -- the only practice management category in which awards were given.

A panel of 15 independent judges evaluated and scored entries based on written applications, live presentations, and customer testimonials.
