For periodontal screening and historical review, The Clinical Product Suite features an on-line perio chart.  Voice-activated data entry eliminates the need for an assistant to transcribe the periodontal probing information into the patient record.  To accommodate individual preferences, the perio chart also accepts data entry by 10-key, keyboard and mouse.  The chart is designed to quickly record soft tissue measurements, including pocket depths, gingival margin, furcation, mobility and mucogingival junction grades.  Areas with bleeding and/or suppuration can also be illustrated.  The on-line perio chart provides an easy-to-read visual representation of the gum line and pocket depths by displaying warning levels in red and healthy levels in green.  The colored charts are a great way to quickly assess a patient's status or educate the patient on their condition.  User friendly comparison charts are also available to inform patients on the improvement or deterioration of their soft tissue.
