At QSI, social responsibility is a fundamental tenet of our business practices.
From internal philosophy to external initiatives, QSI continues to contribute meaningfully to the immediate and global environments.
Here is just a sampling of the ongoing efforts at QSI:
Jeans for Haiti
QSI conducted fundraising events to help the American Red Cross following the January 2010 earthquake in Haiti. In Irvine, Calif., QSI hosted Jeans for Haiti, during which each employee could donate $2 for every day they wished to wear jeans to work. More than $1250 was raised and QSI matched the total.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure
QSI is an annual participant in the Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure walk, held every September in Orange County. The company sponsors each employee and a guest who wishes to participate. Employees are also encouraged to seek pledges prior to the walk.

NextGen Healthcare employees donate countless hours and tens of thousands of dollars to charitable causes of all kinds. Creating a philanthropic foundation that serves as the mouthpiece for these efforts multiplies the impact of this collective giving and increases the charitable footprint of QSI.
The QSI suite of HIT solutions, by nature, creates a built-in fundamental environmental contribution: going paperless! Electronic health records and automated/digitized practice management solutions help medical practices large and small to convert to a more efficient – and green – paperless system.
Green practices have consequently been adopted into our own corporate mentality, making sure we do our part by printing marketing materials and internal documents on recycled paper, providing recycle bins and reusable mugs for employees, and educating our staff on sustainability.
